The art of dying your hair at home!
I dye my hair every 4 to 6 weeks, and to do so I use the Garnier Belle color home hair color treatment in the color Extra Bright Ash blonde/111.
I've used this color for about 2-2½ years now, and im very pleased with the results. Its called 'natural results' in danish and thats what i belive it is. Not a brassy color like most blonde dyes tend to be.
Before and after
When i dye my hair i do at 6 easy steps.
1. I comb my hair so theirs no knots and tanglings.
2. I poor the developer and the dye in a porcelain bowl. (Could be plastic but i like porcelain. Any kinda a bowl that won't be stained by the dye will work just the same)
3. Then i mix the to thoroughly together with my coloring brush! Mix mix mix!
4. I make a straight parting in my hair with a fine comb or the tip of my coloring brush.
5. Then i use my haircoloring brush to apply the dye directly onto the roots. With the comb or brush i make another parting about an inch from the previous, and repeat.
(I don't do this on my entire head. I actually only do at roots from my left ear to my right ear and opwards. The neck i leave being my natural dark blonde colour. It gives it a more naturel look and lets me were my hair up without any roots showing in the back :))
6. And then for the easy peasy step. The waiting! I believe the box says it should be left in for about 20minutes. Tik tok. And then i rinse and lather with my normal shampoo.
(i dont use the following treatment cause it makes no difference and my own conditioner is way better!)
And that's it!
