H&M miniature haul + summerday in cph

Blablabla intro ..

So, as both me and my boyfriend has got vacation we chose to spend the day going for a boat tour of copenhagens canals and habors. It cost 70kr pr person and the tour was for 1 hour with a guide :) Ofcourse as we're both raised in the suburbs of copenhagen we knew all the things we saw on the tour but non of us had gone on a canaltour for about 10 yearsor more. And it was also still very nice since we had perfect weather and copenhagen is so beautyful in the summer. We can really recommend it if your ever in copenhagen :)

After our tour we walked from Nyhavn where the tour ended and to the central station. And to do so we walked from one end of Strøget to the other. (Strøget; The most famous shoppingstreet in copenhagen)

THE MINI HAUL!

Along the way we promised eachother we wouldn't go shopping as we could use the entire day doing so. But after eating lunch a gave in and let him go to FootLocker to buy some new trainers. And in exchange i got like 5minutes in H&M! (he won't let me stay in there for longer cause a could literally be gone for hours!)

I didn't spend a lot but i got just a few minor things.

First of all i'v tried a whole lot of eyebrow pencils, and one of those i like the most is actually a dirt cheap one from H&M. They used to call it "Blonde" but they changed the name to "Light Brown", still the same color though. So i grapped one of those. It was 19,95kr.

The second thing a got was a nailpolish. I was actually gonna buy a turqoise/blu-greenish color since it's the color of summer 2011, but i know that its just gonna sit at home and never be worne as i'm terrible at wearing bold and bright colored nailpolishes unless it's a red og pink/fusia.

So i bought another pink one. I normally love to where H&M's Pink mist (i think thats what it's called) and it's a very flattering natural nude pink colour, but today i grapped one called "Get a rose 4 me" which is a beautyful dusty pink. It was 39,95kr.

Thirdly i bought a face powder. I like to set my foundation with a powder, preferibly a pressed/compact powder. I've also used a lot of differint ones; dior, rimmel, max factor, manhatten clear face, the body shop and l'oreal, if not more.                                       And i don't have anything bad to say about those (except maybe the price) but i once had an emergency and needed a powder and i just bought a cheap one in H&M thinking i wasn't gonna use it again. But i actually liked the Compact Powder, just as much as most of the others! It's like a translucent powder in 11 Ivory Mist and with a good kabukibrush it doesn't go on "caky".

I also got a black metal hairband with a thin fake leathertrim. 19,95kr.

The last thing i bought is a cardholder. It's like a mini-wallet, practical for when your going out at night or carrying a small handbag or a clucth. It was only 24,95kr and in additional bonus i unperposely bought one in a color macthing my phone perfectly!

My new straightner!

Yaay!  A couple of days a go, my boyfriend apparently had decided to spoil me just a bit. He surpriced me on a shoppingtrip and bought me a new straightener and curlingiron. I was so thrilled since i had wanted both of those for quite a while. (I'll write a review of the curlingiron in a following post.)

Th straightner is a Straight & Curl straightner from OBH NORDICA's Björn Axén collection. Björn Axén is what i can understand one of sweedens best hairtool brands.

It has got a turn button to set the temp. up to 210 degrees celcius. It came with a hotsolid bag so you can pack it up and get on the go right away after using. Its just as good as my friends GHD and is made specificly to both curl and straighten! Score!
And i quite like the design. All black with black ceramic movable plates for better grip of  the hair. Furthermore it has got a long cord and a safte turn-off function. I'm in looove with it!<3

Overall, i'm very pleased! You can definitly go out and by this!

Which straightner do you recommend?

How i dye my hair

The art of dying your hair at home!
I dye my hair every 4 to 6 weeks, and to do so I use the Garnier Belle color home hair color treatment in the color Extra Bright Ash blonde/111.
I've used this color for about 2-2½ years now, and im very pleased with the results. Its called 'natural results' in danish and thats what i belive it is. Not a brassy color like most blonde dyes tend to be.

Before and after

When i dye my hair i do at 6 easy steps.

1. I comb my hair so theirs no knots and tanglings.

    2. I poor the developer and the dye in a porcelain bowl. (Could be plastic but i like porcelain. Any kinda a bowl that won't be stained by the dye will work just the same)
    3. Then i mix the to thoroughly together with my coloring brush! Mix mix mix!
4. I make a straight parting in my hair with a fine comb or the tip of my coloring brush.

5. Then i use my haircoloring brush to apply the dye directly onto the roots. With the comb or brush i make another parting about an inch from the previous, and repeat.

(I don't do this on my entire head. I actually only do at roots from my left ear to my right ear and opwards. The neck i leave being my natural dark blonde colour. It gives it a more naturel look and lets me were my hair up without any roots showing in the back :))

6. And then for the easy peasy step. The waiting! I believe the box says it should be left in for about 20minutes. Tik tok. And then i rinse and lather with my normal shampoo.
(i dont use the following treatment cause it makes no difference and my own conditioner is way better!)

And that's it!
